Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church

Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church is the church where the great Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. served as pastor from 1954-1960, and the civil rights movement was born. This nationally significant landmark is open for tours, and features a large mural depicting the civil rights crusade from Montgomery to Memphis.

Dexter Avenue Parsonage Museum

Civil Rights Memorial
