WANT TO CATCH UP ON THE LATEST FASHIONS, GIFT IDEAS & home decor items? If your answer is yes and you appreciate personal service, then check out the shoppes in the Mulberry District. You’ll find plenty of original options to fit all styles and budgets.
One of your first stops in Montgomery should be the Mulberry District when shopping for your wardrobe or posh home environment. Boutiques and specialty shops are inspiring targets for one-of-a-kind, fresh and expressive fashion trends and the shoppes in the Mulberry District have these items in ample supply.
Heading down Mulberry Street, you'll run into a number of boutiques, all within convenient walking-distance. In fact, you can find just about anything that is unique or different at these specialty stores. From garden decor to home decor, whether you’re looking for a special gift or simply window shopping, In The Mood and The Lily Pad are great places to stop in first.
One of the local favorites for women is Painted Pink, where you’ll find sleek True Religion jeans, specialty tops by Michael Stars, and dresses by designers like Tibi and Trina Turk, perfect for a night out on the town.
Gentlemen, while your wife is being pampered by the professionals at Eve's Studio, why don’t you head around the corner to The Locker Room, where you can find everything from signature weekend wear - like Scott Barber and Lacoste knit shirts, to exceptionally-tailored suits.
For the kids, Barb’s carries fun and colorful clothing for children that you won’t find anywhere else. And they can personalize just about anything - be it an embroidered shirt, a canvas for the room, or a special lunchbox that will put a smile on your little one’s face every time they carry it.
If it’s a gift that you need, Say It So is another good one-stop-shop. They have what you need for birthdays and wedding gifts, as well as one of the best selections of pewter goods you'll find anywhere.
If you’re shopping for decor, Sac's Gallery is loaded with wonderful local artwork. My personal favorites are the oh-so-colorful moody animal paintings by Emily Reynolds.
And don't forget to take a break and grab a bite to eat at Shashy's Bakery and Fine Foods or Martin’s Restaurant. These local favorites serve up a variety of dishes to satisfy any appetite.
These are only a few of the wonderful shoppes in the Mulberry District - a quaint and exceptional area in Montgomery’s Midtown - so check it out this weekend. I think you’ll be glad you did.
